W H Smiths by Aberconwy Scaffolding.

Trusted by the region's most prestigious management companies and commercial landlords to supply temporary access facilities for refurbishment and new-build, Aberconwy Scaffolding Services have acquired a well-deserved reputation for professionalism with affordability.

Whether the project is small or large, all our clients are assured of our singular attention to detail.

Working safely at height needs special skills.

Being mindful of the potential risks to those below and providing temporary structures - particularly in busy thoroughfares - requires adherence to stringent regulations.

Remember. It must be remembered also that, as the initiator of the works, the client / landlord / building owner has the ultimate legal responsibility for ensuring competent contractors are engaged.

"Temporary" does not mean insubstantial and "professional" need not mean expensive. Cutting corners on temporary works can have grave consequences.

We provide a reliable and competitively priced scaffolding service across North Wales and Cheshire with the ability to respond on time to clients' requirements.

All scaffolding components are of the highest standard.

We finish projects on time, within quoted budget and maintain strict Health & Safety Records.

At Aberconwy Scaffolding we are proud of our accident-free, and claim-free, record. We are members of

CHAS - The Contractors' Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

- and

CISRS - The Construction Industry Scaffolders' Record Scheme.

Safety at all times

We are fully insured with Public Liability cover of £5 million and Employee Liability cover of £10 million.

Safety by design

Before commencing a project our technical team carries out a design assessment.

They calculate the weight of the scaffold members, the imposed and dynamic loading of men and equipment and wind forces to assess the type components that must be used.

In addition the total estimated weight of the proposed structure is calculated in order to make sure footings and base plates adequately bear the load at ground level.
